But let’s not forget that a substantial proportion of kart owners do not own an Aixro, and have their reasons for choosing not to. I imagine that, to them, your argument – which others on here also repeatedly make (sometimes probably even if they themselves don’t have one) – may come across as tiresome lecturing. Nor does this choice make them second class, which is also the tone sometimes....................But that's people for you.
I like the Aixro and hope it prospers. But up to 10 practising at various circuits around the country doesn't sound very impressive if compared to the amount of, for example Rotax Max ,practising and racing on a weekly basis all over the country. Your suggestion that it is 'the best engine' may be true in many ways, but not if you just want to turn up at your local track to have a bit of fun racing other people. Also, as Logburner points out, it probably isn't the 'best' if you 'enjoy hands on rebuilding of engines'.
