davidmc and itpro both have valid points....
What we seem to have seen of late are record numbers of grids at recent meets (what recession), which in turn put enormous pressure on officials/decision making/re-runs etc....I know that isn't right but for us it seems that whilst something could be done at the time, it's an easier option to let the race run for fear of running out of daylight/time constraint....both the heats and finals at Shenny this last weekend were cut down AGAIN due to a combination of the above....
It seems a chicken and egg....
For the clubs to survive they need the numbers..
When the numbers are present it makes for a difficult day to run...
Due to the continual crash/bash no change situation at PFi we are now opting out of racing there monthly until we really need to...so I s'pose we are voting with our feet...I can see many others following sooner or later, karting is difficult enough without the cost of uneccessary damage !
