Club100 has been racing for over 20yrs, they're not going to change name because the engines have been bored out to extreme.
The dmax chassis is exactly the same Birel corporate, as c100. Quite a few of c100 drivers have had a go on dmax, when desperately missing some racing when there's no c100, generally the consensus is it's alright, but the don't like the pedal system that mechanically prevents use of the throttle, while applying the brake in any way, they still do rather well but generally still do very well, but lament the racing isn't as good, c100 catering for 170 drivers across all classes/standard on Sunday sprints, and the variety of tracks, c100 being a defacto national. C100 clerking is scrupulously fair, and they actively encourage you to race. And as is said you bin it, they'll give you another at no extra cost.
Speeds are broadly the same.
You pays your money you takes your choice. Personally if I didn't want to spanner as owner driver. I'd accept no substitute. Original and best, is club100.
