Am I the only one who see no difference between KGP Rotax and TKM? They are all single engine classes. They will have their time, get really popular. When they are popular there will be allegations of cheating and the rules being wrong and everyone will change again, then there will be very small grids until the distributor or manufacturer finds something else to do.
I mean I like the principle of KGP, it gets rid of the carb for starters. But that can lead to engine failures, you failure see a rotax seize, I've already heard of KGP failing (all due to drive carb error from the sound of it). How many people really rebuild their own engines?
Anyway I can't see Birel competing with Rotax on a global scale. We are talking about a relatively small Italian manufacturing company vs Bombardier (rotax parent company) with a $19billion revenue and 60000 employees.
In my opinion the only class that can be British Championship for snrs is a CIK class who would have a CIK euro and world cup or championship with multiple chassis choices and multiple engines choices. The only one left is KZ.
