Reed valve ICA and OEKC - bad idea?

I have a couple of 100cc reed valve ICA engines (one air cooled, one water cooled) and an old rotary valve National B engine and was wondering about using them in the OEKC open races.

Main questions are:

Is this a stupid idea as i'm aware the life of these engines between rebuilds isn't great?

If i could do it, which engine would be best suited (i'm thinking water cooled as can monitor temps with that)?

Could I run them rich enough with low enough revs for them to survive whilst still being semi competitive as don't want to just trudle around for 4.5 hrs?

Also as a 2-stoke, would I have an issue with running at Daytona in MK as the thought of running the ICA around there is quite exciting!

Any advice greatly recieved.
Thanks
