Hi Kevin

To be honest.... I read those threads and thought that Phil had covered the subject SERIOUSLY well....

I have never done the figures on this stuff and I really used to beleive all the stuff about 'different axle stiffness' was TRUE.... until I read the physics of the subject which says that ALL steels have almost IDENTICAL stiffnesses....

Secondly.... Dave (QoT) may be almost as much of a pain in the b*m as I am but he DOES know about metals and karts. When he said the axle stiffness lark is B*LL*X..... I had to question what I believed. He may be a pain in the b*m but he's an EDUCATED, SKILLED and INTELLIGENT pain in the b*m!
