The regulations are: As per MSA Kart Race Yearbook for TKM Extreme except for the following: Chassis - No karts designed with the use of removable torsion bars are permitted. Axle must be 30mm diameter; Only a 10 tooth front sprocket and a 78 rear sprocket is permitted. If found necessary the club reserves the right to amend the rear sprocket size by bulletin prior to any race meeting. TAG engines are not permitted. No data logging or rev-counters permitted. Used slick tyres (to TKM Extreme class regulations) must be purchased from the club which will be stamped and at a price expected to be £30 per set, wet tyres are to be supplied by the driver. The funds from the sale of the tyres will be put into the end of year prize fund. The club are going to offer a very special price for Saturday afternoon practice and race entry fee, Saturday morning practice not permitted, probably of £60. The club believes that the cost of a race weekend could be only £100. Local traders will have karts for hire from around £200 per weekend. It is important to note that the karts are fully TKM Extreme compliant and of course may be used elsewhere in the Extreme class. Please email secretary@sheningtonkrc.co.uk to indicate your interest in the championship.
