Simon, the Gillard 010 and 010B were designed around the British Rotax classes' Vega tyres so would have been more suitable there as opposed to the Charlotte. However I'm not sure how they handle on the new Mojos.
A post 2009 motor is rumored to be better than those produced in earlier years.

HOWEVER, in the hands of a decent driver, any properly set up chassis with a reasonable motor will be very competitive. So to answer your question explicitly... YES.
