Chris....you don`t understand at all do you??
In my time with MBKC, at the start, we used to hold the annual AGM at Bryn Labour Club, but, surprise, surprise, we found about 10 people turning up, this after booking the upstairs function room, so......we thought, what a good idea it would be to move the AGM to the briefing room at Three Sisters on the Saturday evening about an hour after practise ends, giving everyone a chance to pack their kit away and then attend en-site.....hopefully no problem for the people staying overnight, and for those going home....ok an extra hour out of their time, but hopefully more chance of a catchment than hoping for people to turn out on Wednesday night to Bryn Labour Club, because, at least they ARE on site, and in actual fact the AGM is often more than an hour later than the finish of practice anyway, by the time everything else is done with......
But, although attendances did improve, still in some quarters apathy rules, which is how it has always been, and no doubt always will.
With all due respect Chris, stick to things you know a little about, I don`t recall you ever serving any time on the committee, unless you care to refresh my memory.....
