Thing with kerbs is that they need to stop you running on purpose however they should cause possible injury (from the resulting crash from the axle snapping).

There's a fine line between the two however, people with loads of money can afford the expense of lots of broken axles and a new chassis if they bend one going over the kerbs, so the clubs are stuck with a dilema, less kerbs so everyone can cut kerbs with no problems, large kerbs hit them and you break stuff so no one cheats, but if you acidently hit them you are stuffed.
