if you really want to save money then have a 2 day meet, practice am and races pm on both days.....then you only have to turn up to the track 5 times a year instead of 10...saving petrol etc.....its kind of besides the point anyway, as stated above it costs the track money to put on events, if they have to hire medics etc for both days it costs double the money, and if you only have 1 day race meetings then you only have half the classes and half teh competitors so the clubs loose money that way
