Hi Stryker,

Can only pass-on what we used to do, the same applies to any engine you want to clean.
Use one of the "Autoglym" products intended for engine/motorcycle of parts cleaners.

With our WTP engines, I used to remove the engine complete, then carb, pull-starter and clutch assembly before cleaning (make sure all open ports are sealed).
Apply the "Autoglym" product and allow to work, working with a small screwdriver point and/or wire brush on thick oil deposits, a good quality plastic kitchen brush will give good results too.

After 5/10 mins hose off with water: depending on how long the engine has been left uncleaned, you may have to repeat the proceedure.

No connection, financial or otherwise exists between "Autoglym" and I: wish it did!!

Oh, then of course, dry the engine off checking water has not entered where it shouldn't.
