I have just started cadets with my son and its ACE!!!!!!!
We are getting stronger and stronger on a SMALL bugdet.
When I was karting I raced on a very small bugdet and was very sucessfull.
In other forms of racing in my life, formula ford, f2000 etc all it's 'pat on the back' when you are not a problem but when you get faster its only natural things dont get so nice.
Yes you can meet some wallys, but its not different to normal everyday life
Racing is hard yes, its not a tickeling competion, but its also great fun.
The stewards at my main club come down VERY hard on ANY problems with the parents, even supporters if they cause problems or step out of line there are big problems for them
At the end of the day when our kids are racing you become very protective, and rightly so, so many parents dont give a hoot about there kids,
I am loving cadets and long may it carry on.
