As I said before, ask 10 karters and get 11 opinions!

That's what makes it fun.....! There are very FEW hard and fast rules.... just opinions.

My feeling for changing them extends from earlier engines (the FULL blooded 100cc Rotaries and Reeds) which were MUCH more sensitive to 'leaks'. Both Traxtar's father and I come from the 'dark ages' and thus we carry-over the ancient baggage..... but.... having lost engines through failed oil seals..... I would STILL change them more often than other people. Because they are SO cheap and easy to change!Each to their own!
