And I've also mentioned the programme title is incorrect before anyone mentions that. The image quality compared to what is sent has been a constant issue, and the timecode displayed is just another issue.
In an effort to address this particularly, I am forwarding the programme edit by a different method for the next programme (TKM Rd5 from Clay Pigeon). The bandwidth the programme is broadcast at (5Mb/s I'm told compared to a higher bandwidth for the ads......we film and edit it at a raw image quality of 35 Mb/s!) does affect the output quality, but hopefully supplying the programme in a different way will make some difference. The timecode running within the programme is just a joke, but I have no control over what is going on after I send the programmes to them. I spend additional time grading the image for broadcast and ensuring audio is set at the required spec, but It's like a completely different thing I'm watching and listening to when broadcast. If you see the standard def DVD you'll understand what I mean. I will be speaking to Motors TV tomorrow.
