There's surprisingly few vieos of karts in the braking area..... but here's one of Will Dendy (a moderately good driver!) at Whilton.

Watch and LISTEN to his tyres , especially at:

33 seconds
45 seconds
51 seconds (not a good one)
104 seconds (not good, again)
117 seconds (smooth.....)
144 seonds (smooth again)

You can clearly hear the rapid chu...chu...chu...chu...chu of repeated skid-grip instances. Will is NOT adjusting his pedal for each of these moments.

A video of Kimbolton will show it best as the braking area is SO long but I can't find ANY without appalling music tracks which block the sound!!
