Oh David.....

That's not a good answer. The page you pointed me to was one where people have produced a CONJECTURE as to how tyres behave. That's EXACTLY what I have done but I haven't created a formula to make it LOOK as though I know what is happening!

Secondly...... the deformation of the tyre wall is in REACTION and PROPORTION to the degree of retardation. I am showing you that the retardation is NOT based SOLELY on the 100/20 basis as the O*N*L*Y part of the kart which is CAUSING the retardation is the CONTACT PATCH...... and it CAN NOT KNOW that the 20kph slip it's suffering is based on 100/20 or is based on 50/20! We have agreed that the contact patch CAN know it's suffering 20/20 but thatt's the ONLY one it CAN know about!

Come on David..... the ONLY additional piece of info which the contact path receives is the RATE at which it is being EXCHANGED!

Scandinavian flick SHOULD only be useful when you are suffering 'understeer' and need to overcome the initial turn in problems!
