No, definitely not BULLS HIT, it's for that reason that I use an airline with a great big drying unit on it to blow tyres onto the rims, and a foot pump at any other time. I've got access to dry nitrogen, so probably ought to try it.
I've been thinking about low volume = less air/moisture = less pressure rise. It doesn't work for an ideal gas in an infinitely stiff chamber, but a wheel/tyre isn't an infinitely stiff container, and humid air (that's all we get here in Lancashire) isn't an ideal gas.
If a number of wheel types is what I'm probably going to need, should I just buy rim sets that other people use successfully at the moment? (Mags are going to be inevitable based on pccsystems advice/experience) I think my current alloys might work very well when it gets a bit colder.
