If all the best drivers do it, the data will be available, in which case show me it. I'm pretty sure I know what's happening on track, and it sounds like locking up, but it isn't.
I do indeed thank you for the benefit of your experience and wisdom, so perhaps you could grant me the courtesy of not assuming that I am an idiot. I make no pretensions at being able to drive, but I do have some knowledge and experience of vehicle dynamics.
If you can show me evidence of a series of lock-ups into a slow corner on a quick lap I will believe that's what is happening. If you can't, I won't. I'm sorry if it's annoying, but I'm an engineer. Part of our remit is to annoy drivers. Part of it is also to tell them what their vehicle is really doing rather than what they think it's doing. We are better at the first part than the last part.
I have no need to be right, I am happy to be wrong, but I need evidence to show where my thought pattern, experience, and so on are not hooking up with reality if that's the case. Unfortunately your word isn't enough to convince me.
