Cadetdadnw is definitely on the right track here. Even F1 attempts to control costs in this day and age. Try: 1) Only 3 sealed engines allowed for the championship. ( This allows for a failure: reasonable in any class). Points deduction if a seal broken. 2)Cadets : 1 set of slicks for the whole championship. Other classes, a reduced number of slicks. Championship slicks to be run during practice. 3) No Thursday or Friday practice. Just Saturday practice, Sunday race. This would also allow our juniors and cadets to be in school during the week. Which is where they should be! And would have little effect on results.
These are the sort of initiatives , I believe, the MSA/ABkC should be addressing instead of playing with classes and age limits.
