If it does mean for all karts, I think its a good idea!! It works well at Long Circuit, and we had the light switch for my ICC fitted in a similar position to the Rotax starter and ignition switches. Doesn't seem to be a problem.

And it has to be switched on when the race is declared wet at the start. Cadets/Juniors manage to take their hands off the wheel to fiddle with jetting etc, so whats the difference?

If it improves safety in wet conditions, you should be all for it, not criticising them!! Quite irresponsible to be having a go at the MSA for making the sport safer!!
