Concur. With an already overcrowded class structure, the only "gap in the market" as it was put would be for an open class. There are already plenty of one-make series going (too many), which give too great a monopoly for a manufacturer and their agents to dictate costs.
It would surely make sense for a class to make use of the old homolgation KF engines that will become available from the Super 1 competitors? And if karting is trying to push its environmental credentials this is what needs to happen. What happens to these engines otherwise? In the bin? Good one!
