I have worked as a mechanic and run a mate in Formula Jedi for the last 7 years and I can honestly say that there is nothing as good for the money. I do not know of any one who has tested a Jedi and walked away disapointed they are faster than most other (far more expensive) club classes including club f3 at most circuits we go to, they hold the outright record at Cadwell (really upset the super kart guys!!!) Jedis look like proper racing cars with wings front and back and there is no better sound than a 1000cc motorbike engine screaming at 12000revs especially with grids of 20+ The pedals are infront of the front wheels but there is a strong bulkhead in front and a cover over the feet. The chasis is very strong our car went straight on at Copse (just like Schumacher) and hit the tyres at over 100mph and the driver walked away with just bruises (car needed a bit more work!) They have a fire extinguisher that either the driver can activate from dashboard or a marshal from outside this sprays the driver and engine. In the 7 years I have been involved no one has been seriously hurt as far as I can remember. Check out the website for more info the factory can organise a test drive in one of their cars or you can use one of their cars to enter a race before you buy or let me know if you are interested and maybe for a small charge you could try out our car, we have come 2nd and 3rd in the championship the last 2 years and the driver is a race instructor at Palmers so he could give couching as well.
