Had the same problem when I first switched to clutched. Things I did to fix it were:

1. Leaning out the bottom-end by about 0.5 turn and richening up the top-end by about 0.25 turn. This alone helped but didn't fix it entirely.
2. Increasing the pop-off to at least 10.
3. Replacing all the carb gaskets (the ones that go between the carb and spacer block and engine).
