Can anyone tell me how a scrutineer can check that the nose cones and side pods are fitted the correct distance from the ground when all scrutineering seems to be done with karts on their trolleys? I have seen very occassional checks of karts on the grids once down but not by far as often as I have seen karts with illegal looking pods and nose cones going around the track!
