lol The FA will also have a powerband, it just maybe a tad more linear than the Rotax's. With gearing, and the Rotax's powervalve you could make it so that it didn't drop out of it's peak power out of corners. I don't know for sure but i'd hazard a guess that the FA engine would only out drag the Max towards mid/top end and at the end of the straights where the 100cc would keep revving where the Max runs out of revs.

It would come down to how you drive it, sure the two engines have different characteristics, but I would imagine the difference in lap times would be consistent no matter what tyres you used.
