Alonso kart - settings for TKM

My son has just purchased a 2007 Alonso Kart for use in TKM. If anyone out there is using one of these could they give me some idea of an initial set-up. Obviously, one of the biggest problems is welding the torsion bar(s) in before testing, so this is quite crucial.

p.s. Thanks for your help so far Kev Westbrook, but looking for differing views aswell.
