Well.......

The EXHAUST will go BANG if you start it just yet! Let it dry out FIRST!

Don't panic! Give it all time to dry out and it'll be fine! Ideally, take the spark plug out and GENTLY turn the enogine over (by HAND) to make sure there's not a further litre opf fuel sitting in the crankcase and barrel! Thst should eject most of it if it's there. The reason to tuen it over slowly is so that the plug doesn't actually SPARK and set fire to the fuel/gas surrounding the engine. Ideally, do you first 'start' of the motor OUTSIDE so there's plenty of fresh air blowing the excess fuel/gas away.
