lol. we burnt a clutch out in a very short space of time on our wtp, so I watched closely as to what my driver was doing, it became apparent while starting a race on a standing start at our local track, he loaded the revs up with the brake on(too much tele I think.) Now he does a clutch a year. Another leason I learnt was to ask questions on this site, this way you get the truth and hopefully an explanation, should somebody suggest a idea to you on here that is not good then somebody will chirp up and put the advice straight. And the best thing I learnt was to only make one adjustment at a time, then try it, this way you know what has made it faster or slower/ better or worse, unless you know what you are doing.
