use a sissor jack and do it a bit at a time leave it 10 minutes between each half turn and it will move out without too much strain unlike if you try to bend it out all in one go.

Make sure that you sit in the seat when its between the posts as that spreads as well so that way you know if its far enough out and you don't end up overbending the posts.

Heres an interesting thing I've found mark the points for any seat stays with you sitting in the kart as if when you take your weight out the stay moves and pulls up on the axle stopping it spinning as freely took me ages to work out that this was causing my chain to go tight also made a huge differennce to how it had been handling
