Whilst it is basic maths to calculate ratios, I for one would rather have a ratio table taped in my trailer for quick reference than carry a calculator (even though I could use the one between my ears ) So take the 'abuse' as a statement of fact and don't get precious. I have found the karting community on this forum and at circuits to be generally brilliant but we all occasionally have off days. Enjoy your racing.
Chads - whilst most don't bother, everyone wants to find things that make them faster and the possibility of changing drive sprocket may be one of them. Knowing a starting ratio for a change of drive sprocket to allow testing this is therefore important 12/75 = 6.25; 11/69 = 6.27; 13/81 = 6.23; the slight difference in ratios MAY give an advantage on a given day for a given driver
