02 was his first season (inters) you're probably thinking of the 05 Platinum Cup :) I think he was more angry that we never solved the lack of pace through Lunar that allowed Dux and John to catch him and resulted in retirement from final- turned out to be axle bearings moving on the races putting the brakes on costing around a second a lap!
His other 'moment' was the carnage on the club circuit lap 1 of May 04 - second meeting on Sidewinder and 7/8 kart pile up snapped the front stub yoke clean off - not a happy bunny (neither was the ..er..sponsor/chief mechanic)

As for the back, I think it was actually better when we were racing - except when I helped Dux put his kart on the scales and pulled it right out -ouch!

Yeah, he could probably show McLaren how to win championships - don't settle for 6th - go for the win, lol and I'm sure he would appreciate the compliment.

Talking of good drivers - if you have nowt on this Easter, Nathan Freke is running GT4 at Oulton Park (Sat-Mon) F3 meeting
