I know someone who called the Atol office and they were told, that this years fuel is the same as last year, they were also told they could use last years fuel (if they had any left over)this year.
Bearing in mind that FKS had similar comments made on their fuel when it was supplied by another company, I think anybody or any fuel company could suffer with this problem, I know a couple of years ago whilst competing in G juniors there were problems with small particles in the fuel drums from Carless and last year in the Mini Challenge we had problems with the Sunoco fuel which we put down to them supplying refurbished fuel drums
The best thing to use is a water filter as already suggested and a good additional filter after that before premixing oil.
