Obviously my expectancy to go back to ZIP was a joke and an acceptance of the reality of motor racing....refunds don't generally happen.
However, I try to judge people and companies as I find them and personally I have never had cause to ask for a refund from ZIP so who knows.
I have returned a part to Spellfame and they replaced it, no questions asked...thanks Spellfame.
I was involved in the Tryton debacle of last year and to be honest, as a development engineer myself, more could have been done to at least alleviate the issues, or as a minimum an admission of who owned the problem would have helped.
But while 96% of cadets are on ZIP karts then I will carry on and buy from them as it reduces the risk of my son running something different from the pack. Plus with my limited knowledge I can ask 96% of the dad's for help.
You can't always choose the way you go.
