Love it... Newcomers or anyone with common sense, refer to the disclaimer in my earlier thread... Its all you need to know. I'm sure you saw the light when numb-nuts decided to suggest choclate coated rims or equally as non constructive or maybe by the utter thickness of somebody sayin 'If they did make a difference wouldnt they be on the kart from the manufacturers'. hmmmmm, think thats the whole point, they work sometimes, but sometimes they are also the wrong thing to do but you try them and you also need the option to be able to remove them!
But just as passing comments, your hypothesis of not fitting them is only likely to show you up if they do turn out to be quicker when I try them and you dont. There is a degree of mechanical mindedness to take into account when setting up a kart, but some things are totally illogical and have proved to be a lot quicker on the day.
I always welcome others opinions, but when they suggest something isnt worth trying, based a hypothesis thought up in their potting shed I have to step in and say something, you could really be deterring new comers from trying something that definately does make a difference.... well to those drivers who can actually feel the difference.
