I wish the difference in barrels and manufacturing quality of the Rotax parts was only myth and legend, unfortunately I've seen parts up close that are absolute crap including 09 milled barrels that have half a port milled the other half laft as a rough sand casting completely misshapen! I can fully believe zico. Although unfortunately not afford to to the same lengths which is why I opted to buy a proven engine...which was over 5 tenths quicker than anything I had driven before....I know for a fact that teams like strawberry and RL go to great lengths to try to find the very best component for every engine I.e. Best barrel matched with best power valve, best carb, with best floats, matched with best exhaust, and best air-box! They are looking for every single last hundreth of a second! But that's why they win more often than not!all that costs money though...
