Your rod should be the new one.

I always use 120mm of oil as we've found the extra oil has protected the engine better and 20mm less fues in 5 litres make damn all difference.

It also helps when you're running really lean.

There's no doubt the new clutch is far better.

like you we would break springs, shoes and pins.
