Hi matt,
why would you want to move the engine? On all the rotax's I have ever seen the exhaust mounting is adjustable? In all cases you set up the correct gear ratio for your track and then move the exhaust to suit? Not move the engine/ gear ratio to suit the exhaust. What chassis do you have, it should have an adjustable mount. I don't think I have ever seen one without some form of adjustment....... Also you should find there is a position for the engine which give the best handling. On my Tonykart we checked the weights and marked the best position for the engine on the mount. When we change gear ratios dad just alters the chain length, we never move the engine or the exhaust.
