Got one in a Mondeo with pods off , wheels off and rear bumper off , so should squeeze in.

Another easier solution is to fit a roof rack. Wheels and engine off goes on easy and within the weight limits of a roof rack. Just need a hand to get it on and off the roof, use a couple of ratchet tie downs on it and its secure.

As for the engine , if fun use only keep the reves below 14600 and run it rich and you should be good for 40+ hours. Thats what sort of thing club 100 do to get many hours between rebuilds.
