First of all well done to Rob this weekend, nice start to a senior era especially against the competion that he had. The tyres did seem to Alex worse than the old ones when cold but that could just be psychological with them being new type or just that he's not used to them yet or the fact that we were going crap all weekend anyway. At rolling lap speeds I don't think that an extra lap is going to make much difference either. We've quite often had carnage at the first corner at Hooton so it won't make that much difference, I think it's more the driver that will control the demise of that tradition rather than a warm tyre. I don't think the first corner incidents at Whilton would have been any less using the old tyres, it wasn't that much better last year in summer when we visited if any. Just my opinion. We're coming to race their next week so we'll perhaps be able to tell better;-)
