As a newcomer to the sport I would welcome any opinions on buying used engines on Ebay.

I am looking to get a TKM extreme, preferably clutched, and want to keep initial costs low.

Are the ones on Ebay usually ones to avoid or should they be ok?

Obviously there will be good and bad wherever you go but I'm thinking it may be worth spending a few quid extra to get one from somewhere where you have some comeback if all is not well.

What do you reckon?
