I agree with your sentiments Robin, but unfortunately, I cannot allow lies, innuendo and libellous comments about me doing and saying things that I didn't to go unchallenged. I'm just not mature enough to let it go...... particularly when I post my email and phone number for anyone to contact me with any query, complaint or just to have a chat. Posting defamatory comments should never go unchallenged in my view. It allows falsehood to be represented as fact, and if you follow this forum, how often do people say something to the effect "why doesn't someone from S1/Stars/Club let us know what's happening... they just bury their head in the sand...."
I don't mind holding my hands up and apologising if I've done or said anything to cause offence, and I have to accept that some will not have been happy with the way I organised and ran the Motors TV series, not least the one's who were banned for life for "a considered effort to circumvent the rules", or even those who just had a bad experience for whatever reason they care to state, but comments like I had "favourites", when the drivers they are talking about consistently drove from P30 to P1/P2/P3 etc. and justified their exposure, or that I said and did things I never did, have to be challenged.
Not to do so only encourages them to spout further falsehoods and allegations if they think they can say what they like, represent it as fact and get away with it. Got any problem with what I say or do, call me to discuss it man to man, but don't lie about me on this site, suggesting I did or said something I never did...I will always challenge it.
