As Itpro says the Mycron is the more up to date of the two.

Setup and accessing the data - lap times, rpm, temp much easier.

For a Cadet the major extra the Mycron offers over the Alfano is that for each lap it displays the Minimum RPM. Both display the Maximum. Getting your lad to keep the revs up in the slowest corners is important.

However having used both the Mycron is possibly a little less robust? Ours failed within 6 months but KKC changed the main board for free so recommend you buy from an authorised dealer such as them.
