Only if that club hosts Dadsons.

If father and child go off to do the Dadsons, that is potentially 2 less competitors racing at a club. If they then encourage their friends, that could be another two or three competitors not racing at that club. If the the grid then reduces to only a few, the remainder of those grids could go to another club with bigger grids and then the original club stops running those grids. If they loose enough people, then they cant afford to run a meeting because they dont cover their overheads and we have lost another kart club.

As I said before, the original Dadsons filled a gap in the market. Dadsons running Minimax does not fill a gap in karting, all it does is support Dadsons and stops those parents who currently race in Dadsons leaving Dadsons to race at clubs with their offspring.

If we support our clubs then we will have strong grids. If we dont, then we will have lots of travelling championships racing at just a few tracks.

Who does that benefit apart from the organisers of the championships.
