To the Karting Student

I love your philosphy about weight helping to slow you down under braking... He will probably not being going so quickly because of the weight so it may seem it! but laws of physics clearly prove the heavier an object the harder it is to accelerate but also the harder it is to slow down.

There may be some benefit in having extra pressure on the tyres but I bet his braking distance would be longer than somebody of 10 stone in the same kart.
