I just want to know why they can't be bolted on and why they are made so flimsily when they are a protective item, supposedly.

A Ł50.00 flimsy item at that!

The thickness of the blow moulding varies enormously and cannot possible be CIK crash spec when one will crush easily and absorb zilch and another will weigh a ton and push a Centurion tank down the track.
