I have purchased a vortex junior engine(02) for a young relative to get him started, but the engine I bought had no carb on it I thought no problem I have plenty of old carbs but now I cant mount any of my carbs onto the engine as they are all hitting the fins on the engine, there is a plastic spacer on the engine for where the carb mounts but do I need another spacer to bring the carb further out from the engine? or only use a certain carb? anyone who has used these engines pls help!
