To keep the coil in one piece do all you can to prevent the plug cap coming off in a race. Puta small diameter cable tie about 10mm up from the bottom of the cap that goes over the plug porcelain. Tighten the cable tie just enough to give the plug cap some grip onto the plug. This gives it a better chance of staying on.
