yeh interesting one this russ, im in the same boat, i think il run at 144, wel il have too, cant get enuf weight to run 152. it should mean the kart is easier on the tyres. as for the lead, as far as i understand its probably best to leave the lead on the seat, because it balances out the weight of the engine a bit(corner weights and all that), having said that, the wieght on the floor has a lower centre of gravity....so really not sure!!!...for me its probably best to loose fuel though, cos at the moment i have 8kg lead and about 6kg of fuel onboard, so the fuel has the highest COG.
