I guess the problem is that the MSA appears to be acting incongruently to the wishes and interests of its paid up licence holders. Among many others, we've had the following issues over the last 2 years that exemplify this :
o The licence renewal debacle. o The Rotax clutch greasing problem. o The Rotax Vega issue. o The Zip nose cone problem. o The [potential] see-sawing of the chassis protector compliancy requirement.
I'd hazzard a guess that the vast majority of licence holders coallesc around a single view on each of the above, yet the MSA appear to have taken the opposing position. Why is that the case ? Surely the majority can't be wrong in the majority of cases ? But more importantly what can licence holders do to redress the situation when this happens ? Maybe somebody closer to the MSA than myself could explain... because if the MSA is committed to acting against the best interest of karters, it really has no purpose at all and we're better off voting with our feet.
